INSULARYMENT

Insulayment is a 100% recycled textile layer applied between subflooring and finished flooring to reduce noise, increase thermal insulation, and improve walking comfort. It may be applied under glued or nailed-down flooring types, including hardwood, engineered wood, stone, porcelain, or tile.

RESOURCES
Insulayment is made of 100% synthetic fiber waste reclaimed from textile and carpet mills, Used as an alternative to wood, cement, or plastic-based underlayment.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Composed entirely of recycled content and has an approximate 50-year life cycle. MP Global Products LLC does not facilitate takeback programs, and the textile is not known to be recycled in municipal recycling centers. The products are packaged in recycled boxes and shipped via truck.

HUMAN HEALTH
Manufactured through a thermal heating process with patented technology, the process involved steam and press action without any additional chemicals or adhesives. The manufacturing process meets VOC air quality requirements.

SOCIAL EQUITY
MP Global Products LLC is a small company, and all employees are offered fair wages, although the company does not have any special benefit programs.
