Select Antrim Carpets are made from high-quality long-fiber wool from around the world and are hand-loomed and tufted. For residential and commercial rugs, runners, and broadloom carpets.

RESOURCES
Some Antrim Carpets are made from undyed wool and also contain latex derived from rubber trees, with a backing of cotton or polypropylene. The edges are finished with wool yarn. Antrim Carpets does not provide information on the impact of their shipping from overseas and sheep pasturing.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Wool is a long-lasting and renewable natural fiber. Antrim’s chemical-free wool will biodegrade if composted. By grinding up the carpeting after use, textile fibers can be recycled into new products. Wool is soil-resistant so Antrim Carpets does not require stain protection.

HUMAN HEALTH
While synthetic flooring may emit VOCs, wool improves indoor air quality by permanently binding to formaldehyde, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide emissions.
