ECO-NATURALS CORKTONES

Eco-Naturals CorkTones are rubber tiles that incorporate PIR cork into a synthetic rubber non-slip flooring surface. Manufactured for interior floor applications.

RESOURCES
The tiles contain 2.5% (by weight) renewable PIR cork in addition to walnut shells and synthetic rubber, which are acquired locally when possible.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Johnsonite recycles old material and scraps (including non-Johnsite flooring being replaced) for reuse or downcycling and is committed to a 5% yearly reduction in water and energy use and waste production. Local suppliers are used as often as possible to reduce the distance of transport. They aim for a 20% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2020.

HUMAN HEALTH
Tiles are phthalate, halogen, and chroline-free and do not require the application of finishing chemicals. They meet indoor air quality VOC standards.

SOCIAL EQUITY
Johnsonite plans to reduce VOC levels even further beyond requirements in the years to come. Johnsonite enforces and occipational health and safety management system(OHSMS) that promotes a safe and healthy working environment.
