Radium Foam. Radium foam is an open cellular structure material for use in mattresses, mattress toppers, and pillows.
RESOURCES
Made from air and 100% natrual latex derived from rubber trees grown in Southeast Asia. The rubber is extracted from Southeast Asia and manufactured in the Netherlands. The manufacturing is very energy-intensive.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Wastewater is treated after used and manufacturing scraps are used in furniture, pillows, etc. Used mattresses are sent to a recycling facility, though some retailers have take-back programs.
HUMAN HEALTH
An LCA is available upon request. Produces no carcinogens, air pollutants, or toxic substances during production. NO known VOCs. MSDS is available upon request.
