Reclaimed bark siding is composed of recycled tree bark through artisanal craftsmanship and can be applied in residential and commercial spaces for exterior and interior use. Panels are constructed with 100% recycled materials, and the bark siding itself is also 100% recycable.
RESOURCES
Bark House products incorporate RAW(Recycled Appalachian Waste) materials. Their products are manufactured in a closed-loop production system with zero waste, meaning that they are produced from recycled materials and then at the end of life can be completely recycled again. Bark House provides assistance with locating a nearby recycling center that has Demolition and assisstance with locating a nearby recycling center that has Demolition and Constriction recycling infrastructure. An untreated product can also be mulched and provide biological nutrients back into the soil.

Bark House strictly adheres to open and transparent manufacturing processes, providing information like materials sourcing and energy and water usage to its consumers, as well as full cradle-to-grave life cycle assessments of its products. The exterior poplar siding is certified Cradle to Cradle across all 5 categories: materials health, material reutilization, renewable energy, carbon management, water stewardship, and social fairness.

An OSHA SHARP Certification verifies the company’s commitment to employee health and safety. Employees have flexible schedules, 360 reviews, gym memberships, bicycles, and an on-site kitchen and shower.

Bark House was founded in 1990 and has created an industry and new jobs in the North Carolina Appalachian region. They are committed to providing optimal worker conditions as well. Every year, they choose community volunteer projects that align with the needs of the area. To date, Bark House has invested 650 hours in volunteering and community.
