RESOURCES
The textiles are made of 100% PET with its surface containing 55% recycled content (44% PIR and 11% PCR) and its GlasBac backing, a vinyl composite, consisting of up to 40% PCR content.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
The flooring is 100% recyclable, enabled through FLOR’s Return and REcycle Program facility, which separates the components of the textiles and recycles the content to make new products.
HUMAN HEALTH
Manufacturing uses renewable energy sources. Textiles contain zero VOCs. FLOR has some of the lowest VOC emissions in the industry, certified by Carpet and Rug Institute and AQS.
SOCIAL EQUITY
FLOR started Carpet for a cause, a program that donates to charities, organizations, and schools, as well as partnering with DASH to address economic disparities in the community. They are part of Mission Zero in which they promise to eliminate any negative environmental impact by 2020.
