Cascade Coil is a long-lasting, flexible, lightweight, and easy-to-install woven-wire fabric. Cascade Coil’s flexible weave and innumerable support points make it an effective solution for decorating, partitioning, and securing structures for a variety of spaces.
RESOURCES
Cascade sources its wire from manufacturers that use a high percentage of recycled content, some with a scrap base as high as 90%. The small amount of scrap that is produced is recycled.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
As a window treatment or as building cladding, Cascade Coil provides solar shading. When used as a divider, it does not inhibit free air movement, which can cause heating and ventilation issues. Cascade Coil requires very little maintenance and is fully recyclable at the end of life.
HUMAN HEALTH
The manufacturing process does not use toxic chemicals or solvents; only organic compounds. Cascade’s painting process exceeds the Department of Environmental Conservation standards. Many of Cascade’s wire fabrics do not require paint.
SOCIAL EQUITY
Cascade Coil manufactures their products in the United States (and distributes globally). It is affiliated with the Building a Better America Council, which encourages American industry and locally sourced materials. Cascade Coil products are listed on Declare, an online materials database that discloses the components of their products.
