Fireclay Tile Glass is made of 100% recycled glass, with an energy efficient production process that creates little to no pollution and waste. It is available in matte or glass in a wide variety of shapes and colors.
RESOURCES
Fireclay is made from 100% PIR glass, salvaged locally. The manufacturing process is waste and energy-efficient. Production takes one-fourth the energy of casting glass. Tiles are shipped with recycled and compostable packaging.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
The manufacturing process uses approximately a ton and a half of recycled glass a week, with glass salvaged from local window and solar panel manufacturers. Fireclay’s CRT glass tile gives new life to difficult-to-recycle CRT e-waste. Fireclay Tile purchases carbon offsets for its manufacturing emissions.
HUMAN HEALTH
Toxic chemicals, VOCs, and pollutants are not emitted during manufacture or use. No MSDS is provided.
SOCIAL EQUITY
There is no outsourcing of labor, and each company member has full health insurance and fair wages.
