I am submitting two works of art that were both created in ecologically sustainable ways. The first work, ”Unraveling” is made from found fabric that is printed with ink made from handmade natural inks and dyes of branch and trash images found in my Brooklyn neighborhood. The second work, ”Seeking, Grounding” is made from reused torn sheets dyed with my used tea bags. Both works hang from tree branches found on my street and both works promote the idea of using yard waste and found materials to create art.
