Chemetal 900 series is a collection of metallic laminates made from 77% post-consumer recycled aluminum. Chemetal laminates are recommended for interior use only, on vertical and light-duty horizontal surfaces.

Chemetal 900 Series is an alternative to petroleum-based plastic and resin commercial interior products. Although hard to mine, aluminum is easy to recycle, and some aluminum finishes contain up to 85% recycled content (based on information from a 2008 Aluminum Association Survey).
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Chemetal is LEED MR accredited for recycled (4), regional (5), and low-emitting materials (4.1). This includes all designs in the Chemetal 100, 400 (except #423), 500, and 900 series.

Chemetal 900 Series is metal rather than petroleum-based, but any further information on the health implications of 900 Series is not available.
