RESOURCES
All BAUX products are Forest Stewardship Council certified and Red List Free, indicating that their products are produced using responsible forestry methods and do not contain harmful chemicals. Wood Wool also qualifies for the California Department of Public Health Standards.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
BAUX operates a circular program that allows acoustic materials to be returned for recycling or refurbishment. Acoustic wood wool materials can be ground down and repurposed as ballast and filling material, moisture-absorbent sprinkling, or as a substrate for running tracks, among other uses. When wood wool is naturally deposited, it even contributes calcium to the environment. Additionally, BAUX Acoustic Wood Wool products absorb heat from the surrounding air and releases it as temperatures drop, helping to lower energy costs and reduce environmental impact.

SOCIAL EQUITY
BAUX products are Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certified(PEFC); PEFC is a not-for-profit organization that supports responsible forestry methods, and offers certifications for products that come from forest materials.
