An extremely durable recycled alternative to wood, made from 100% waste materials with an over 10-year guarantee for continuous outdoor use

RESOURCES
Miura Board® is manufactured from 100% recycled materials, including commingled plastic waste and high-tenacity fibers such as rice hulls and recycled Nylon/PET carpet fibers. The patented process uses waste materials without washing or additives, reducing additional resource inputs. As a fully recyclable product at end-of-life, it supports a circular material system and diverts plastic and carpet waste from landfills while reducing reliance on virgin lumber and marine-grade plywood.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
By upcycling plastic and carpet waste, Miura Board® reduces landfill accumulation and decreases demand for logging. The board is water-resistant, rot-proof, UV-resistant, and impervious to mold and marine borers, extending its lifespan and minimizing replacement cycles. Because it requires minimal maintenance and does not splinter or degrade like wood, it lowers long-term material consumption in harsh outdoor and marine environments.

HUMAN HEALTH
Miura Board® is biologically inert and chemically resistant, meaning it does not support mold growth or decay. Its splinter-free surface improves user safety in applications such as boardwalks, stables, kennels, and ramps. The manufacturing process avoids additional chemical additives, limiting potential off-gassing or harmful material exposure.

SOCIAL EQUITY
By transforming waste into high-performance infrastructure material, Miura Board® addresses global plastic waste challenges while supporting circular economy principles. The technology has been successfully implemented in Brazil, Argentina, and Chile for decades, demonstrating scalable, long-term waste diversion solutions. The product reduces dependence on logging, landfill expansion, and environmentally damaging disposal practices, contributing to more responsible infrastructure development.
