Sustainable packaging made from molded pulp (also known as molded fiber) which is made from a variety of fibrous materials such as recycled paper, cardboard offcuts or natural fibers (sugarcane bagasse, bamboo, wheat straw).

GreenKraft Clamshells are made from 100% bio-based molded pulp, using renewable and recycled fibers such as recycled paper, cardboard offcuts, sugarcane bagasse, bamboo, and wheat straw. The materials are USDA Certified Bio-based, verifying that all components are derived from renewable, plant-based sources. As part of a circular design model, the packaging is 100% recyclable and biodegradable, allowing it to return nutrients to the soil after disposal. Its production minimizes dependence on petroleum-based materials while utilizing post-consumer and post-industrial paper waste.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Molded pulp packaging significantly reduces plastic pollution by replacing single-use plastics with fiber-based, compostable alternatives. Its closed-loop system supports a strong recycling network—paper and cardboard packaging recovery rates have grown from 17% in 1960 to 68% in 2018 (EPA). The production process involves low energy input and water reuse, while utilizing renewable fibers that sequester carbon during growth.
