RESOURCES
The production of hide leather often involves a massive amount of water and the use of harmful chemicals during the tanning process. By using recycled leathers, Ecodomo cuts the demand for hide leathers and fewer leathers end up in landfills. The recycled leather veneer is made from pulverized leather fibers reclaimed from tanneries that make car seats and accessories. Once shredded it is bound with a natural latex and tree bark.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Since 2005, EcoDomo has been a member of the United States Green Building Council.

HUMAN HEALTH
The website provides LEED specifications for architecture projects. For Installation PVA glue or a solvent contact cement is required.
