Modal fibers are a lower-environmental impact, high-comfort material manufactured by Lenzing. They are made from natural, raw material wood sourced from responsibly managed forests and produced with 50% less carbon emissions and water consumption than generic lyocell and modal fibers.

RESOURCES
Ecological Fibers does not incorporate any of the hazardous solvents or heavy metals typically found in coated covering materials. Coatings are water based and completely solvent free. Their products contain no traces of PCB, PVB, or PVC which are known to cause adverse effects on the health of humans, animals, and the environment.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
FLEXPAK uses a water treatment system which produces 2 disposable waste products – a solid, compostable “cake” and a clean water stream. The clean water is used to clean the plant and machines, and the solids are composted in our garden outside of the facility.
